Saprotex International is the powerhouse behind Elle Yarns, spinning high-quality hand-knitting yarns right out of South Africa. Over the years, they’ve knitted (pun very much intended) their way into becoming Africa’s largest yarn spinner – and one of the largest in the world. From luxe fancy yarns that make your fingers swoon to affordable acrylics perfect for beginners, they cover the full yarniverse. 🧵🌍

The Challenge

Saprotex has a mighty product range and they do it all with a team smaller than you’d think. While they were busy innovating, producing, and perfecting yarns that would make any crafter’s heart flutter, they needed some extra creative muscle on the brand and marketing side. That’s where we rolled in – with color swatches, design flair, and plenty of coffee.

We partnered with the Elle Yarns team on four major fronts to bring their brand to life and build real connection between product and person. Their heart for quality and community inspired everything we created.
